ABOUT MOISSANITE

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite is a naturally occurring mineral composed of Silicone Carbide, first discovered in a Meteorite crater in Arizona by French scientist Dr Henri Moissan in 1893.

It is an incredibly rare naturally occurring substance, and almost all Moissanite available today is grown in a Laboratory, making it an ethical choice, with very little environmental impact.

Moissanite is an amazing alternative to diamond, but it is by no means a synthetic diamond or a diamond substitute. It is a unique gemstone, with its own unique properties and characteristics.
